Dr. Antony specialized in cosmetic surgery and breast reconstruction for 15 years. Dr Antony was drawn to the field of plastic surgery with a background as a trained artist focusing on sculpture and oil painting having studied at the Lorenzo Medici Institute of Art in Florence, Italy. After attending the North Carolina School of Science and Math, she completed a degree at a top 10% nationally ranked Chemistry program followed by her medical degree at University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. She honed her skills as a plastic surgeon at the elite Stanford University Medical Center plastic surgery residency in Palo Alto, California. She rounded out her education and training at Ivy League Harvard and Cornell completing her reconstructive plastic surgery fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center / Cornell Medical Center in New York, followed by a fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School. She has a Master of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health and an Executive MBA from the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management. She is excited to return home to NC from Chicago bringing her family (husband, two children and two fur babies) with her.

Dr. Antony most recently has served as Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and Chair and President of national and regional societies and conferences. She maintains membership in numerous distinguished professional societies. She is Board-Certified in Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Plastic Surgery
