Dr. Parada is a fellowship trained aesthetic plastic surgeon, with a passion for helping people feel beautiful and confident. She received her Doctor of Medicine (M.D) degree from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center El Paso School of Medicine. She has dedicated herself to obtaining the best training in the world and completed competitive plastic surgery residency at the #1 hospital in the country, the Mayo Clinic. This rigorous training provided her with the best skillset to accomplish complex reconstruction and aesthetic surgery. She then progressed to complete a prestigious American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery endorsed fellowship in North Carolina at HKB Cosmetic Surgery.
During her training, Dr. Parada was active in participating in research resulting in several publications contributing to the advancement of plastic surgery. Additionally, she has presented at national conferences for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Parada is bilingual and fluent in Spanish, which allows her to deeply connect and understand patients. Ultimately, her goal is to provide excellent care and experience to her patients while providing an exceptional outcome.
Dr. Parada plays the violin, and played in both the symphony and orchestra during high school and college. During her college years in California, she played in an all-female mariachi band, sharing the stage with famous singers and performers. These experiences have provided her the appreciate for arts, beauty, music, and culture, which have enhanced her artistic abilities to determine a tailored plan for each patient.
