What to Expect?
At H/K/B Cosmetic Surgery we perform all neurotoxin treatments in a beautiful and comfortable medical office setting. We have several certified injectors on staff. These trained medical professionals have advanced training in injectable treatments, including Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Daxxify, Jeuveau. Each treatment is performed under the supervision of our board-certified plastic surgeons. We perform non-surgical injectable treatments at all of our facilities, but brands might vary by location.
Recovery Time
No recovery period is required after neurotoxin treatment. There may be some slight bruising, tenderness, and/or swelling at the injection sites, but this usually goes away within a few hours to a day. It is important not to rub the treatment area for the first day.
It takes a few days for the effects of a neurotoxin to show up, so please be patient. No follow-up appointment is necessary afterwards, but we are, of course, always available to answer any questions you have while you heal.
Neurotoxin injections last 3-6 months.
