What to Expect?
At H/K/B Cosmetic Surgery, we have been proud to support our patients in their choice of male chest enhancement/pectoral augmentation. Prior to considering surgery, you want to be at a stable weight and in good health. In cases of autologous chest augmentation, maintaining a stable weight following surgery is key as weight loss may cause a diminished appearance of fullness and weight gain may increase chest fullness beyond desired results. Our skilled surgeons and staff are prepared to assist in reaching your goals and have a supportive recovery.
Recovery Time
Healing after pectoral implant surgery varies depending on the extent of the procedure, with most patients taking about one to two weeks off work for initial recovery. In the first several days, swelling, tightness, and soreness are common as the chest adjusts to the implants. A compression garment may be recommended to support healing, and having assistance at home for the first few days can be helpful.
Light movement is encouraged early on, but chest-focused activities and heavy lifting should be limited for several weeks. Your surgeon will provide detailed postoperative instructions to ensure proper healing and help you achieve strong, natural-looking results.
