What to Expect?
During laser hair removal, a specialized laser is applied to the treatment area to target hair follicles while leaving surrounding skin unharmed. At H/K/B, we use the Lumenis LightSheer laser, which features a larger treatment spot to reduce treatment time and improve comfort. Because hair grows in cycles, several sessions are required to treat hair during its active growth phase. Treatments are quick, and most patients describe the sensation as mild and tolerable.
Recovery Time
Laser hair removal requires little to no downtime. Most patients return to normal daily activities immediately after treatment. You may experience mild redness or slight sensitivity in the treated area for a short period, but this typically resolves quickly. Over the following weeks, treated hairs gradually shed, leaving skin smoother with each session.
