What to Expect?
During a NeoGraft FUE hair restoration procedure, healthy hair follicles are carefully extracted from areas of the scalp where hair growth remains strong, typically along the back or sides of the head. These follicles are then strategically implanted into areas experiencing thinning or hair loss to rebuild a natural hairline and restore density.
Because each follicle is transplanted individually, the surgeon can control the placement, angle, and direction of growth to create results that match your natural hair pattern. The procedure is performed using local anesthesia, and patients remain comfortable while the follicles are harvested and implanted. Over time, the transplanted follicles establish blood supply and begin producing new hair growth in the treated areas.
Recovery Time
Recovery after FUE hair restoration is generally faster and more comfortable than traditional strip hair transplant methods. Since individual follicles are extracted without a large incision, patients typically experience minimal discomfort and no linear scar at the donor site.
Small healing points may be visible in the donor and transplant areas during the initial healing phase. These usually resolve within several days. Most patients return to normal activities shortly after the procedure, while new hair growth gradually develops over the following months as the transplanted follicles enter the natural growth cycle.
