What to Expect?
Before starting treatment, our experts will administer local anesthetic in the treatment area. The Avéli® device will be inserted through several small incisions and carefully guided beneath the skin to locate and sever the connective tissue bands responsible for creating cellulite dimples.
While total treatment time varies based on the number of treatment areas, Avéli® treatments typically take about an hour.
Recovery Time
Because Avéli® cellulite reduction is minimally invasive, most patients experience a relatively manageable recovery period. Mild swelling, bruising, or tenderness in the treated areas is common during the first several days after the procedure. Many people return to normal daily activities shortly afterward, although strenuous exercise may be limited for a brief time. As the treated tissue heals and the released bands no longer pull on the skin, improvements in skin smoothness become more noticeable in the weeks following treatment.
