Born in Taiwan and raised in Michigan, Dr. Wu earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Art from the University of Chicago. She then completed her MD at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. After a 5-year general surgery residency at the University of Chicago, Dr. Wu moved to Chapel Hill for a 3-year plastic surgery residency at the University of North Carolina. She is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Surgery.
