What is an Arm Lift?
An arm lift can usually be performed on an outpatient basis using anesthesia or a local anesthetic and sedation at our fully accredited surgical facilities, where our highly qualified nurses will pamper you. What Can I Expect During an Arm Lift?
An arm lift surgery can be completed in about 3 hours depending on the amount of tissue to be removed and the overall length of the incision. The incisions run on the under-side of the arms where scars can be seen only if the arms are lifted. Liposuction is used to remove any excess fat and excess skin is trimmed.
Dissolvable sutures are used to close the incisions so that no stitches have to be removed. These sutures also minimize scarring.
