It’s been a fun summer ☀️ ...
✨ AWAKE BREAST ENHANCEMENT. LOCAL ANESTHESIA. NO ORAL SEDATION. ONE VERY HAPPY PATIENT. ✨
This one is worth watching all the way through.🎥
In this video, you get to experience the journey alongside our amazing patient as she undergoes a Preservé™ breast enhancement while completely awake, using local anesthesia and no oral sedation.
And my favorite part? Seeing her reaction to her new shape.🥹
What makes this approach different?
✨ Awake procedure with local anesthesia
✨ No oral sedation in this case
✨ No disruption of the pectoralis muscle
✨ Implant placement designed around her individual anatomy
✨ Focus on preserving tissue and breast structure
✨ Natural shape, movement, and proportions
✨ A surgical plan built specifically around her goals
But there is an even bigger message I want patients to understand:
There is no single breast enhancement operation that is right for everyone.👏🏼
Every patient walks into our office starting from a different place. Different anatomy. Different skin and breast tissue. Different lifestyles. Different goals. And very different definitions of what their ideal result looks like.
Some patients may be great candidates for Preservé. Others may benefit from a different implant pocket, a different implant, a breast lift, fat transfer, internal support, or another approach entirely.
That is why the consultation is so important.
Before we talk about an operation, we listen. We want to understand what bothers you, what you love, what you want to preserve, what you want to change, and what you want your result to feel like years from now.
Then we build the plan around YOU.
Technology will continue to evolve. Techniques will continue to improve. But the foundation should never change: The right patient. The right procedure. The right plan. For the right reasons.
And when you see a patient look at herself afterward and smile like this… that’s why we do what we do.❤️

✨ 3 WEEKS. FULLY AWAKE. AND ALREADY LOVING HER RESULTS. ✨
This beautiful young woman is just 3 weeks out from her Preservé™ breast enhancement, performed completely awake under local anesthesia—with NO oral sedation of any kind. 🤯🍒
She was comfortable, awake, and engaged throughout the procedure—and seeing how happy and confident she is today is the best part. 🙌🏼
At only three weeks, this is still very early in the healing process. She still has some swelling, and over the coming weeks and months:
✨ Swelling will continue to resolve
✨ The implants will soften and settle
✨ The breasts will continue to take on a more natural shape and feel
✨ Her final result will continue to evolve
Preservé™ is designed around a minimal-disruption approach, with the goal of enhancing breast volume while respecting and preserving the natural tissues as much as possible.
But the technique is only part of the story. The real win is the smile, the confidence, and a patient who is genuinely proud of her decision and her result. ❤️
Every woman starts from a different place and has different goals. Implant selection, surgical technique, pocket position, and anesthesia approach should always be individualized after a thoughtful consultation.
She is already thrilled—and we’re only 3 weeks in. Can’t wait to watch this beautiful result continue to settle and

🏆 Grateful for the recognition. Even more grateful for the responsibility.
I’m incredibly honored to once again be recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Best Plastic Surgeons, with recognition across six categories this year. It’s an honor I’ve been fortunate to receive year after year since 2021.
But here’s what matters to me:
I absolutely love being a plastic surgeon.
I love this field. I love the challenge of it. I love that there is always something new to learn, something to improve, and another level to reach.
And most importantly, I love taking care of my patients.
Awards are wonderful, and I’m genuinely grateful for this recognition—but tomorrow morning, nothing changes. I still walk into the operating room with the same responsibility I had yesterday: do everything I possibly can to give the person who trusted me the best result I can.
Aesthetic surgery is unique. We have the incredible privilege of taking care of people who are often healthy and doing well—and they trust us to help them feel even better, more confident, and more like themselves. That is an amazing gift, but it is also an enormous responsibility.
Recognition like this should never feed our egos. It should raise our standards.
It should remind us to keep learning.
Keep questioning ourselves.
Keep refining our techniques.
Keep listening to our patients.
And keep pushing for better outcomes.
Because at the end of the day, the award isn’t the goal. The patient is. ❤️
I’m incredibly thankful to my patients for their trust and to our entire HKB team who works alongside me every single day. None of this happens alone.
This recognition just makes me want to work harder than ever to hold up my end of the bargain.
Better surgery. Better results. Better experiences. Happy patients. Always. 🙏

An Interview With Dr. Bharti
I grew up in Queens and Long Island, New York, then moved to East Tennessee, a city called Johnson City. I love both New York and East Tennessee. These two very different places helped shape me into a well-rounded person.
I attended Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. Afterward, I went on to the prestigious Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center Department of Plastic Surgery residency program. This unique, integrated residency program allowed me to train under world-renowned plastic surgeons. The extensive hands-on experience I gained during this program equipped me with the skills necessary to become a highly proficient plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
I am passionate about the entire field of plastic surgery and enjoy operating on all areas of the body for patients of all ages. From facelifts and rhinoplasties to liposuction, abdominoplasties, and circumferential body lifts, I find joy in helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals. Even procedures considered more routine, like breast enhancements and lifts, bring me satisfaction because they contribute to patient happiness. Ultimately, my greatest satisfaction comes from seeing my patients happy.
Our practice philosophy is one of constant improvement. We strive to find the best possible solutions to achieve our patients’ goals. We believe in pushing the boundaries and never settling for the status quo. Additionally, we prioritize addressing patient concerns promptly to ensure a speedy return to their normal lives.
Coming from a family of doctors, I always wanted to be a physician. Inspired by my parents, both medical professionals, I craved a career that allowed me to combine my desire to help people with my hands-on skills and artistic sensibilities. Plastic surgery perfectly fits this desire. It allows me to use my creativity and artistry to improve people’s lives and help them feel confident in their appearance.
I love interacting with my patients and my team. The ability to operate and then see patients thrive in the clinic is incredibly rewarding. Problem-solving and making people happy are core motivators for me. This field constantly pushes me to find ways to improve patient outcomes and minimize recovery time.
Persistence and unwavering focus on my goal were key. My father instilled in me the belief that anything is achievable with hard work and dedication. I treat all my patients like family, prioritizing their needs above my own ego. Additionally, I value taking care of my team and collaborating effectively with other healthcare providers.
In my free time, I cherish spending time with my amazing wife and our four wonderful daughters. I also enjoy staying active through workouts and long walks. Social interaction with friends is important to me. And let’s not forget my deep love for music! In another life, I might have been the world’s most famous electro house DJ!
The vast scope of plastic surgery, encompassing procedures from head to toe, initially drew me to the field. However, it was the ability to help people achieve their aesthetic goals and witness the resulting happiness that truly solidified my passion for aesthetic surgery. It’s a simple yet profoundly fulfilling aspect of my work that motivates me every day.
When I pursued plastic surgery, getting into an integrated residency program from my medical school was unheard of. Many discouraged me, even suggesting my then-fiancé shouldn’t “couples match” with me because it was unrealistic. Honestly, that negativity only fueled my determination. My father’s belief in the American dream – that with hard work, anything is possible – resonated deeply. There were certainly other setbacks along the way, but I learned that sometimes, taking a step back allows for a bigger leap forward. Even patient complications, while rare, serve as learning opportunities. My approach is to address them swiftly and comprehensively, which often leads to stronger patient relationships and referrals.
Motivated, honest, compassionate.
I’m fortunate to have a vast network of mentors who have significantly impacted me throughout my career. These mentors include plastic surgeons, business professionals, real estate experts, and even experienced life coaches. Additionally, I consider my loved ones mentors as well. Ultimately, I believe we can all learn from each other.
