The first photo in this carousel is one of my favorites. My dad holding me as a young boy, looking like he had the world figured out. Looking back now, I realize what he really gave me wasn’t advice, money, or opportunity—it was belief.
My father has taught me that anything is possible if you’re willing to work for it. He taught me to dream big, to bet on myself, and to never be afraid to chase something that seems out of reach. Most importantly, he made me believe that in this incredible country, the United States of America 🇺🇸, there are no limits to what can be achieved through hard work, perseverance, and character.
No matter what stage of life I’ve been in, he’s always had a way of making me feel capable, confident, and ready for whatever challenge came next. For that, I will be forever grateful.
I’m also incredibly fortunate to have an amazing father-in-law. The man who raised the incredible woman I call my wife. Without him, I wouldn’t have the family I cherish most in this world. His kindness, strength, and character live on through his daughter, and through our family every day.
And now, as a father myself, I realize just how special and important this role truly is.
To my four amazing daughters—you challenge me, humble me, keep me laughing, keep me on my toes, and fill my heart in ways I never knew were possible. Being your dad is the greatest privilege of my life. Watching each of you grow into strong, confident, compassionate young women is a gift I never take for granted.

One of the biggest priorities for this patient was maintaining her active lifestyle. She is incredibly fit, loves working out, and did not want to sacrifice pectoral muscle strength. Because of that, she selected a pre-pectoral (subfascial) implant placement, meaning the implants were placed above the muscle while preserving the function of her chest muscles.

Upper lid blepharoplasty is one of the most impactful procedures in facial rejuvenation. It can be performed on its own under local anesthesia or combined with other facial, breast, or body procedures.
For some patients, excess upper eyelid skin makes makeup application difficult. For others, it creates a tired appearance or can even interfere with vision. The procedure removes excess skin and, when needed, small amounts of fat or muscle through an incision hidden within the natural eyelid crease.
The result is refreshed, natural, and often appears almost scarless once healed.

This beautiful, active mother of three wanted a subtle enhancement in volume and shape—but she wasn’t interested in a lengthy recovery, significant downtime, or undergoing general anesthesia.
Using the Preservé Breast Enhancement technique, we were able to perform her procedure completely awake under local anesthesia. Throughout the entire surgery, she was comfortable, relaxed, and talking with me. The procedure was completed in less than an hour. She walked into the operating room on her own and walked out shortly afterward with essentially no pain and an immediate improvement in breast volume and contour.
For her goals, we selected 170cc implants—just enough to restore fullness, enhance proportions, and create a beautiful, natural result that complements her active lifestyle.
The images and video you’re seeing are her immediate results—literally moments after surgery. Even more powerful than the photos is hearing her describe the experience in her own words and how surprisingly comfortable the process was.
One of the most exciting aspects of the Preservé™ approach is that it is designed to minimize disruption to the breast tissues, helping many patients return to their lives more quickly than traditional techniques. In most cases, the incision is only a few centimeters long. For this patient, we also performed a small revision of the lower pole and prior breast lift scars to further refine her result.
Every patient is different. Some patients still prefer general anesthesia, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. My job is to understand your goals, anatomy, lifestyle, and comfort level, then help guide you toward the option that is best for you.

An Interview With Dr. Bharti
I grew up in Queens and Long Island, New York, then moved to East Tennessee, a city called Johnson City. I love both New York and East Tennessee. These two very different places helped shape me into a well-rounded person.
I attended Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. Afterward, I went on to the prestigious Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center Department of Plastic Surgery residency program. This unique, integrated residency program allowed me to train under world-renowned plastic surgeons. The extensive hands-on experience I gained during this program equipped me with the skills necessary to become a highly proficient plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
I am passionate about the entire field of plastic surgery and enjoy operating on all areas of the body for patients of all ages. From facelifts and rhinoplasties to liposuction, abdominoplasties, and circumferential body lifts, I find joy in helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals. Even procedures considered more routine, like breast enhancements and lifts, bring me satisfaction because they contribute to patient happiness. Ultimately, my greatest satisfaction comes from seeing my patients happy.
Our practice philosophy is one of constant improvement. We strive to find the best possible solutions to achieve our patients’ goals. Coming from a family of doctors, I always wanted to be a physician. Inspired by my parents, both medical professionals, I craved a career that allowed me to combine my desire to help people with my hands-on skills and artistic sensibilities. Plastic surgery perfectly fits this desire. It allows me to use my creativity and artistry to improve people’s lives and help them feel confident in their appearance.
I love interacting with my patients and my team. The ability to operate and then see patients thrive in the clinic is incredibly rewarding. Problem-solving and making people happy are core motivators for me. This field constantly pushes me to find ways to improve patient outcomes and minimize recovery time.
Persistence and unwavering focus on my goal were key. My father instilled in me the belief that anything is achievable with hard work and dedication. I treat all my patients like family, prioritizing their needs above my own ego. Additionally, I value taking care of my team and collaborating effectively with other healthcare providers.
In my free time, I cherish spending time with my amazing wife and our four wonderful daughters. I also enjoy staying active through workouts and long walks. The vast scope of plastic surgery, encompassing procedures from head to toe, initially drew me to the field. However, it was the ability to help people achieve their aesthetic goals and witness the resulting happiness that truly solidified my passion for aesthetic surgery. It’s a simple yet profoundly fulfilling aspect of my work that motivates me every day.
When I pursued plastic surgery, getting into an integrated residency program from my medical school was unheard of. Many discouraged me, even suggesting my then-fiancé shouldn’t “couples match” with me because it was unrealistic. Honestly, that negativity only fueled my determination. My father’s belief in the American dream – that with hard work, anything is possible – resonated deeply. There were certainly other setbacks along the way, but I learned that sometimes, taking a step back allows for a bigger leap forward. Even patient complications, while rare, serve as learning opportunities. My approach is to address them swiftly and comprehensively, which often leads to stronger patient relationships and referrals.
